WestJet Testimonial

"I had to write and tell you that I finally had my trip with WestJet and what I think of it... the word that comes to mind first is simply - WOW!

I had the best, most entertaining service on an airline in a long, long time. The head flight attendant was a riot as were the flight attendants. Great sense of humour! We were offered a little snack of either 'bits & bites' or 'chocolate chip cookies - that 'Glenda' (flight attendant) had homemade that very morning'... naturally she said this while waving the processed package of cookies around so no one was really misled! There were many little anecdotes such as that throughout the entire flight.

When I arrived in Calgary to visit my niece, I suddenly realized I'd left my glasses in the pouch at the front of my air seat. I called the airport and was helped by several different people. They found that the flight had continued on to Ottawa and gave me Ottawa's number to call and the people in Ottawa found the glasses and shipped them back to me on the a.m. flight to Calgary. Apparently, in Calgary they don't automatically go to lost and found until everything's been sifted through so Keri - at your lost and found in Calgary - went to retrieve them before they got sent away (which might have resulted in my not getting them for another three days - and I use bifocals - so can see neither near nor far without them!). She kept them aside for me and I picked them up - again with absolutely no problem.

Check in was amazing - an appropriate number of staff handling it so no long lines - very friendly and efficient and we even got our request of the exit row!

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed everything about WestJet - even the pilot who landed in Toronto - like a fighter pilot barely touching the ground as he landed. Although I've been around the world, I still don't like flying especially takeoff and landing so this was a real treat.

Please pass this note of gratitude to all of them (or any who are) and rest assured all the agents in our office will be selling lots of WestJet from now on!"
